Every aspect of Leonardo’s genius is present, showing his abiding interest in the mechanical sciences and mathematics, in astronomy, physical geography, botany, chemistry and anatomy.
It also includes studies for paintings such as the “Adoration of the magi”, “Leda” and the “ Battle of Anghiari ”. Each volume of the 12 – volume facsimile is accompanied by a volume with the critical and diplomatic transcription edited by Augusto Marinoni .
